I'm so happy, the Summer weather finally made it to London! We seriously needed this heatwave. Arlo is loving the sunny days and all the park time we are getting. Another of our favourite places around Crystal Palace is the entrance to Crystal Palace Park on the Parade right at the top of the hill. There is a little circular garden blooming with red and white flowers. It tends to be bursting with colour during the Summer months and then completely dug up during the Winter when it looks a little bit miserable, so it's nice to enjoy it while there is a bit of sunshine around and because we tend to skip this entrance a lot as it can be a little tricky to navigate with a buggy. It's a lovely place to sit with in the sun with a coffee.
Top similar to the one I'm wearing here, and the one I wish I was wearing here.
We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning! London finally has gotten it's first sprinkling of snow, though I doubt it will stick around long as the little flurries are already turning to drizzle. We spotted a little fox wandering down a lane and I felt like I was in Animals of Farthing Wood, a cartoon I was obsessed with as a child! Snow really has something magical about it, I just love it! We had a little wander around and then headed for a hot chocolate to warm up. I'm enjoying these last few weeks with a bump as it's beginning to dawn on me that soon enough bump will be on the outside! Speaking of, I can't believe this coat still fits! The buttons still do up, I swear! It's currently on sale too, here's the link. Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
We are so delighted to announce that we are expecting a baby!! This little bundle is due February next year. It's been a wonderful experience so far, I'm completely overwhelmed with the love and positivity from friends and family, thank you all! Where best to go for the first few pictures of the little bump than the beautiful Mayfield Lavender Farm, South London, about a 25 minute drive from Crystal Palace. It was like being transported to the Provence for an afternoon. I highly recommend a visit before they begin their harvest in early September. And definitely try the lavender lemonade for a zing of thirst-quencing goodness.
