Dubrovnik was so much fun! I really didn't know what to expect travelling with a baby to a place I'd never been before, but wow it was so good! We spent a few days there last week celebrating as our good friends tied the knot in the most romantic of locations and this is just a taster of what we got up to before the wedding (which was beautiful and emotional, lots of happy tears and manly sniffles and some ugly crying from me now that I'm a mum and the emotions catch me off guard!). It's so easy to get to first of all, Dubrovnik airport is about a half hour drive to the Old Town where most of the apartments and hotels are. It's not expensive, we had some lovely meals out and were pleasantly surprised at the prices. It's so friendly and Croatians just love kids. It can be a bit overwhelming being a new parent and going on your first holiday but we felt so welcome. I definitely underestimated the amount of time we would spend in our hotel room though, next time we'll make sure to get a room with a nice view or a balcony to relax on while Arlo naps. RJ and I are massive Game of Thrones fans and we loved spotting all the filming locations as we wandered around the Old Town and there are tours you can go on (we didn't because we weren't sure the little guy would be as into it as we are). We stayed at Hotel Excelsior and loved it. Definitely add it your list!!
