I'm so glad the Cheeky Midge is back in business! She's running like a dream. In the sunny weather madness, we drove to Westfield Stratford and had a stroll around. I bought wadding for a secret project I'm working on, and a new pattern master patchwork ruler that I'm not using for patchwork, but for ANOTHER secret project that I might give you a sneak preview of. It's lovely to have projects on the go again. I went through a phase of hating my sewing machine for a whole year after I finished University, but I'm loving it all over again now! I guess you could say we were on a break, I almost got a new purple John Lewis sewing machine, but the one I have has served me so well I didn't bother. Here is the Midge back home and on the road again!

Some people are scared of pointy toed-ness, but they really elongate your leg and I think the pop of colour is so current with colour blocking trends flying left, right and centre, they'll update any outfit! Image So of course when I spotted these little cerise ones, I couldn't resist. Now if only the weather would cheer up so I can wear them everywhere ... 1991268975image 799373215image I also picked up a little nude satchel in Peacocks (gotta love Peacocks) for £12 I said yes please thank you very much. 1459234199image Here is my new pattern master in action. I love it cos it has a 1cm grid the whole way across and you can line things up perfectly. I shall show you what I'm working on in my next post! Exciting times! Ciao for now! X
